God took a part of my life away, but at the same time, He made me realise how much my friends are willing to do for me. i appreciate every single gesture, every simple "Are you ok?" for those dear friends who took time off their packed schedules to ask me out and occupy my lonely days, nothing compares. perhaps i don't even deserve their company, for i'm not as sensitive to a hurting person's needs like they are. i'm contented with my life right now because of these people. i thank you for your tactfulness,ur wisdom and ur concern.

to some friends i don't want to c hurt anymore: take a step back and think:why do u let him hurt u agn n agn? is he worth crying for?

to you:谢谢你今天教我的。我一定铭记在心。:)

19 yrs and wiser. certain things i've come to learn, are not so important anymore. certain people, will fade into the background of your memory, regardless of the relationship you've shared. certain values or principles you've held so dear crumbles under circumstances. you've become the person you had detested and never wanted to be. what is the value of pride? what is the value of friendship? what is the value of kinship in name only?

i will not be coerced to follow procedures or expectations.

to all the people out there: do not be so quick as to criticize stuff that u r not completely familiar with, save urself some face.

when you are too nice to some people who don't deserve your kindness and give in to their nonsense, they climb all over you. "Love your enemies". that must be the hardest thing to achieve, ever.

YOGENTHIRAN, my tutee, have bitches as his family. mum n sis to be exact. they change the tuition days as and when their puny brains feel like it. i didn't mind that. until today. i was alr on my way to their place when the mother called to ask me if i was on my way there. then, she called a second time and asked how come i didn't turn up for tuition on monday. "wii wayted ans wayted but you didn't durn up!". so i argued it was the sister who told me to go to another venue at woodlands. she didn't believe me at first. how come she couldn't call her family at woodlands to ask? or ask her son? alright, maybe her brain capacity isn't capable of processing such matters. but seriously, that pissed me off real bad. firstly, she canceled on me when i was alr on my way. freaking irresponsible. then, she accused me of ponning tuition cause of her own effing problem of communication breakdown with her daughter. fug q, bitch.

the worst thing about vermins is that they breed.

YAY! I GOT JAY CHOU'S AUTOGRAPH!

the best thing about getting his autograph is not getting the autograph, but to be within very close proximity of him. i was ecstatic and almost delirious with joy man. if only they allowed us to take pictures of him while he's signing.

well before the event which started at 7, we were already queueing with all the ah tiongs( i swear they consisted of at least 40% of the people who were queueing) and all since 4pm. the queue was blooooody long. so long that ppl were taking videos of the queue as they walked all the way from bugis junction to where the hotel is. the security guards had to make us queue in threes. it got worse when 7pm came creeping nearer. people started to smoke. n push. you could say that the queue was kind of for nothing. cause ppl just screamed and pushed. think 'stampede'. the suckiest thing is that some so-called fans only bought the cd on that day itself. -_- some fans they are. i have only two words for those ppl(use your imagination).

so at approximately 7pm, 周董came in his CHAMPAGNE-GOLD LIMO. whoa ttm. i only got my autograph at 9pm. never perspired and pushed so much in my life man. i still dunno if it was worth it, since i lost my patience quite a few times, in a manner that is far from being "lady-like". still, JAY CHOU ROCKSSSSSSSSS.

I am a new fan of Christopher Nolan. Pure genius, that man is. Inception is the awesomest movie ever. An intelligent and original plot, so thought-provoking. omg. Best movie everrrrrr! n Leonardo DiCaprio as the lead is The Choice manzz. oh yeah, i love the ending as well. breath-stopping spinning totem ftw!

Photobucket
p.s. so Ellen Page was Kitty in X-Men! no wonder she looked so familiar =p

Despicable Me is a must-watch! wee~

the yellow, adorable-looking things are so cool! [spoiler alert!] they even work as light-sticks. creative ttm! ^_^ i totally want to live in Vector's home! the only thing i dislike bout the plot is the part of the floating YAP(aka yellow, adorable-looking thing). kind of copying Roald Dahl's idea in Charlie and the Choc Factory. ok anyways, overall i love the movie! great graphics, great plot. oh n Gru's accent is extremely entertaining to me. =D

short message to CKR:
hey wo de hao jiemei,
i don't know if it's appropriate to say this. But i'm happy that you didn't have to go overseas to further your studies. 4 years is a freaking long time(it's kind of crap if it's 4 yrs and u still think time flies). i don't want our friendship to weaken over time. and i'm sure our clique outings will be as rare as well, the chance to meet Jay Chou face-to-face without ur prescence. sorry if i sound selfish! lol! =)

Mushies

Are mushies equivalent to mushrooms? Yeah I know it's gameplay language. But what's the matter with the people who fel obliged to replace the word 'mushrooms' with 'mu-*snorts*-shies" or find the word cute? If you find the word so catchy and cute, I suggest you sew the word onto ur bolster or pillow and hug or drool on it to sleep, whichever you prefer. If you lack the aptitude in sewing and can't make a stitch without poking your finger with the needle, do feel free to visit 'http://www.youareanoobreally.com'[Sign up as a member to interact with the community who are just like you! A free copy of 'A Dummy's Guide to Sewing' will be delivered to you.]

Diverting our attention back to the main topic, I would like to emphasize my stand that the English Language shall not be jeopardized and insulted by gamers or any other civilian. [Note: I am not biased against gamers in any way. The word 'mushies' are just undeniably most frequently used by gamers.] The language wasn't developed and invented just so it could be subjected to amendment by anyone for any reasons. This is not, I repeat, this is not Wikipedia.

Please exercise some self-discipline and control so that others will not have to be sickened and disturbed by the word 'mushies'[Will you just listen to the atrocity of the word..].Thank you.

p.s. Mr Joshua Goh, I welcome a rebutt, anytime. Meanwhile, kindly take the backseat. You do not want to get injured when Le Ting rocks the world. cheers. JOKING!

GENTING! ♥♥♥ 18-20 June

oh yeah. i miss Genting. the fog, the coolness of the weather. n the memories.
Day 1: i've forgotten how irritating the Msian custom is. wayyyy too crowded. n i found out that Grassland coach is kind of a scam! lol. ok i'm exaggerating. but its toilet is not usable at all, really. but at least it was a smooth trip thanks to Novomin, my life saviour. when we finally reached First World hotel, we had to wait through 900(no kidding) check-ins before our turn. niceeee. so checked-in only at around 6pm. more than half the day gone. oh me loves the temperature. natural air-conditioning ftw! n looked at how fat n cute these junkfood became!>>
Photobucket

Day 2: Theme parks! i wasn't really a fan of theme parks. but after conquering the Corkscrew, my confidence level has been officially boosted. woots~ i'm really for Battlestar Galatica at RWS! not yet ready for the Flying Coaster(where u have to lie down on ur front and be spun and rotated 360 degree like the Earth-arnd-Sun manner for consecutively 3 times at one go. i mean, the ppl on it were even too afraid to scream k!)though..
Photobucket
Photobucket

Photobucket
gosh, the place is so beautiful at sunset.

Photobucket
fog! wee~

Photobucket
look at this hilarious pic of a mini vertical drop. the machine was totally just bouncing gently. one of the kids actually dozed off! =D

Photobucket
love this ride. n it's so pretty!!=)

Photobucket
yays! marrybrown truly lives up to its name of a family restaurant.

and finally......................
my beloved (huuuge)bearbear won at the outdoor theme park!♥
Photobucket
got me loads of attention on the way home in (burning and sometimes, flooding) Sg.

------------------
second visit to Sands! SKYPARK!
Photobucket

Photobucket
lastly, i must comment that this is the worst device i've ever come across. tour-guide huh. -_- who wants a constant automated voice in ur ear when u r enjoying the scenery? lol. n it makes the user look stupid.

Photobucket

Photobucket

no DSLR. not even a camera. just......a camera phone. woots! seriously considered befriending a DSLR owner. =/ luckily in the end, someone discovered Night Mode capabilities of the phone after using it for a yr.

OMGOMGOMG! yeah that was what went through my mind when i saw the absolutely breathtaking pool. Pool at the Skypark! 1.2m water level. n guess what. same height for the glass/the only protection u have in a pool 57 storeys above ground. whoa ttm. the view from the observation deck was stunning enough alr, let alone a view from a pool. i will so book a room at Sands one day. one day. oh and who needs the Observation Wheel when u can have the Skypark?

Friday is the Hope of the Week ♥! sashimi=yums :)

wee~ first trip to Marina Bay Sands! walking there was indeed a one-of-a-kind experience. got stared at like we were POWs entering a concentration camp.

Sands was highly unfinished. and the shops were real boring. RWS ftw! but we caught a glimpse of the casino! a first for me yay.. i guess sg is the first country to have two separate entrances for Singaporeans/PR and foreigners at the casino. interesting it is.

Photobucket

Photobucket
stagnant, unfinished river inside the mall.

Photobucket
ok. my 3MP LG phone cam does nothing to capture this cool feature of the interior of Sands.

Prince of Persia-Sands of Time is really worth watching. was lots better than i had expected. =)
Jake Gyllenhaal's really suitable for his role. and the main actress is very beautiful..unlike.......

Princess Fiona in Shrek Forever After. a needle in the eye to the max. i was wincing inside throughout the movie whenever she appeared. hideous. she should have just stayed human. their ogre babies aren't very adorable anyways.. oh yeah, the movie was an utter disappointment. Would have been a great closure for the sequel if it had just stopped at Shrek 3. =/

Photobucket
dined at Manhattan.

ry got us some gifts from taiwan! :) gosh, i'm so damned jealous.. really hope we can all go Korea together next yr. talking bout next yr, gonna miss kerong like mad. i'm not going to cry. i'm not going to cry..

Photobucket
went to Esplanade. the outdoor amphitheatre near Esplanade actually.

Photobucket

Photobucket
some shots of one of the few scenic spots in sg before the performance started.

Photobucket

Jack and Rai performance was awesomeness. :) Rai is a damn good singer and talented guitarist! anyways, some young talents were showcased. there was this girl, no older than 16(Amni or something.pardon me hee), who gave an outstanding rendition of Beyonce's If I Were a Boy. omg. she could win Singapore Idol (or maybe not. she deserves a better title that could get her far) without sweat. then she sang Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck Without You as well as "duet-ed" with another girl to sing Party in the USA. she clearly out-performed her partner. she's got a to-die-for vocal. the dancing Uncle(uncle Chua. lol) was utterly entertaining. for the first time he danced, at least. unparalled boldness totally.

Photobucket

Photobucket
too bad there's no picture of Amni.

yays! great girls' nightout with kerong, lyn,hl and ry!! hope xiuming stops MIA-ing. and my night was 100-no 200% happier due to the little surprise. wee~

when's the next outinggggggg??????????

When things are so tough yet you know everything's worth it, there's nothing you wouldn't do to keep it going.

--------------
ECP with D,S, & M. :)

so that is how cinnamon melts tasted. (what? i know i'm slow k. not as slow as M & D anyways.=p) and i've learnt that a double mcspicy meal, plus the hot sun does not go well together for me. suicide mission that is. gave me a migraine. :/ so, reluctant as i was to get under the full, homicidal exposure of the sun, it turned out to be a fun day!

roller-bladed with M while S and D went cycling. M was, i'd say, armoured. couldn't say 'fully' since looking at the extent of her Heliophobia(and i thought i was the worst there was already), she needed stockings to be fully protected against our common enemy.
Photobucket
i must agree though, that it is something to learn from. i don't want to be any darker.
note to self: Bioré sunblock!

i'm so proud of me! roller-bladed a pretty impressive distance for my record. thx M for your patience! i should change the wheels perhaps, they were a little rough. if i get a new pair of blades, i would probably be killed by my mum even before i get to use them.
most embarrassing experience of the day would be walking bare-footed across a path and into a 7-eleven. ho my gosh ttm. i mean, ecp is hardly sentosa. not many valid reasons for a person to walk around bare-footed. but hey, not like i enjoyed doing it ok. i was...limited by circumstances. and so i got some stares & my feet almost suffered 3 degree burns from walking on a concrete path at 1pm when the sun is most lethal. new found respect for Indians who walk on white-hot(or was it red-hot?) coals, definitely.
then M and i went to rent bikes to cycle with S and D. :) fun fun..
Photobucket

Photobucket
an attempt at bimbotism.

passed by the place for water-activities. made me have the urge to try Parasailing/wakeboarding next time.
Photobucket

Photobucket

p.s. #1: hope can go kayaking with M and S! and D if we manage to persuade.
p.s. #2: can't wait to watch Eclipse with D and S.

Ciao!

Prague is definitely one of the must-visit-before-you-die places in my list.
it looks so fairytale-like and tranquil. :) i can almost feel the breeze.. just kidding.

Photobucket
Prague castle! what a sight to behold.

Photobucket

Photobucket

the perfect combination -> a violet-pinkish sunset and European-styled buildings and pi-no not pigeons. they are foul, unhygienic creatures that fly into people. maybe doves yeah. anyways, Prague looks as romantic as Paris can be. ^_^

i'm so up to travelling again after looking at these pictures.
